Inexperience halts Morales's nationalisation project
President Evo Morales appointed a committee on 2 April to oversee the nationalisation of the telecommunications company, Entel, which was state-owned up until 1996. However, if the vicissitudes of the hydrocarbons "nationalisation" process are anything to go by, the current owners of Entel, the Italian company Telecom, will not see rapid change anytime soon.
